Spalted Maple Georgian Bay Board - 36" x 11 x 2" (#3468)

Handcrafted to last for generations! Each of our Georgian Bay Boards® are functional art pieces designed to be used for serving, such as charcuterie or cheeseboards. They can also be used for display or hung on the wall.

Each of the pieces in this collection are inspired by the beautiful shoreline of Georgian Bay and are handmade from sustainably-harvested, kiln-dried live edge wood that is local to the Georgian Bay area.

Once sanded to an ultra smooth finish, 2-4 layers of epoxy are hand-painted for a realistic and three-dimensional ocean effect. The finish will not roughen, dry out, peel, crack or flake and is water and stain-resistant.  Our finishes do not contain nut oils. All our serving pieces are safe for direct food contact. We don't recommend cutting or using hot foods on the epoxy portion of the board.
